Maintenance Technician

Job Position Summary

You are responsible for proper operation and repair of manufacturing facility and equipment. This includes maintaining fluid levels in machines, minor contracting duties, and general shop cleanliness. Supports critical equipment repair / uptime.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 5+ years of Prior Maintenance Experience
• Knowledge of CNC machines specifically Niigata, Matsuura, Nakamuura, Mazak, Haas, Yasda
• Ability to Troubleshoot Machines and repair accordingly
• Ability to Coordinate with operator on maintenance activities to ensure the meet productions schedules or goals
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Working knowledge or equipment and tools
• Ability to identify future maintenance problems
• Understanding of hazardous material, chemicals, PPE and proper usage
• Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally
• Ability to follow directions and to be able to identify what needs to be done
• Strong attention to details
• Time Management Skills
• Ability to drive a fork-lift
• Ability to multi-task, and pivot from one task to another

Qualifications

• Must have ability to read applicable machine manuals and machine prints with or without corrective lenses
• May have to lift up to forty (40) pounds at a time, as required
• Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time
• Must be able to climb into and out of machines
