PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely perform routine installations, repairs and maintenance on production equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Safely troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot PLCs and other control systems.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Affords assistance in development and implementation of maintenance procedures and schedules.
  • Assists with audits and inspections by outside agencies.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas.
  • Must show ability to read and understand written instructions in English.
  • Communicate with Supervisor and Production departments to understand equipment issues and give direction on proper operation.
  • Clear snow using snowblower and shovel. Salt the walking surfaces.
  • Mow the lawn, use line trimmer, and spray weedkiller.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
