Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play an essential role in maintaining our apartment communities, ensuring our residents enjoy safe, attractive, and well-maintained homes.

Responsibilities

  • Complete service requests in occupied and vacant apartments
  • Repair and install appliances
  • Perform drywall, tile, painting, and flooring repairs
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems
  • Complete plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
  • Maintain community grounds, including landscaping and waste removal
  • Assist with masonry, sewer maintenance, and general property upkeep
  • Remove snow and ice as needed
  • Work collaboratively with contractors and fellow team members
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation for emergency maintenance
  • Safely operate company vehicles, including golf carts, quads, and trucks
  • Properly and safely use maintenance tools and equipment
  • Follow all company safety procedures

Qualifications

  • Experience in residential or apartment maintenance preferred
  • Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift heavy appliances and maintenance materials
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, professional, and customer-service oriented
