Maintenance Technician
About the role
The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Site Operations Manager to ensure all facility related equipment is maintained to the highest standards in the Hard Services line. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician will partner with the Site Operations Supervisor to ensure collective success across all service lines (hard, soft, and operational) and embody the OneISS (one team) methodology of facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Solve non-complex (single system) maintenance and repair of a building’s shell, core, and equipment.
- Maintain facilities for clients, customers, and staff in a safe operating condition.
- Execute a best practice preventative and reactive maintenance program.
- Resolve immediate operational and/or building safety concerns.
- Provide safe and reliable building systems that proactively and reactively support our client’s business needs.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues on the accounts and across the company.
- Translate basic technical information to those with and without a technical background.
- Work independently and as part of a team, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work in noisy environments (with required PPE), stand for long periods of time, crawl, climb and work with equipment of various types.
- Operate powered industrial trucks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or vocational or trade school/college required.
- Basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC skills including knowledge of the corresponding tools in these trades.
- Valid state driver’s license. May be required to travel via car within a specific metropolitan region.
- Basic computer proficiency skills (Word, Outlook, CMMS Systems, Smartphone Systems).

Schedule
The work hours for this position are Mon - Fri + Weekends, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm.
