Maintenance Technician

Troubleshooting & Equipment Maintenance

• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment as needed.
• Ensures proper checkout of parts from maintenance control onto work orders.
• Uses bench grinder, sanders, drill press, surface grinder, manual milling, and associated equipment.
• Recommends and implements changes in production operations.
• Aids technician group leader on projects as required.

Technical Skills

• Proven mechanical ability and troubleshooting skills.
• Reads prints, basic drawings, and electrical schematics.

Communication & Teamwork

• Communicates effectively at all levels verbally and in writing.
• Supports team concept of getting the job done.

Physical Demands

• Lifts up to 40 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds regularly.
• Performs activities such as crawling, standing, reaching, grabbing, bending, climbing, etc.

Language & Computer Skills

• Speaks, reads, and writes English to perform essential job functions.
• Proficient in MS Office and basic computer functions.

Driving

• Must be able to drive a motor vehicle.
