The Job You Will Perform

  • Perform preventative maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring run out, calibrating dials, aligning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels.
  • Complete emergency/breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations.
  • Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations.
  • Accurately use measurement and test equipment.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas and cleaning up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks.
  • Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork.
  • Work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Follow all safety rules and practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

The Skills You Will Bring

  • Ability to work with a safety first mindset and actively participate in our safety culture.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Highly-qualified candidates would possess a technical degree or apprenticeship certification.
  • MN Special Engineer Boiler License or higher strongly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Skilled in pneumatics, electrical, PLC, and hydraulics.
  • Ability to accurately use and read a variety of measuring devices.
  • Well-rounded electrical, mechanical and machine shop skills and experience.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
