Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled individual to join our team as a Maintenance Technician in Saint Paul, MN. As a Maintenance Person, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep and repair of our properties to provide a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.

Responsibilities

- Inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide range of small appliances. - Perform routine maintenance to ensure appliances are operating efficiently and safely. - Replace faulty parts using appropriate tools and manufacturer specifications. - Document repairs and maintenance activities accurately in logs or service reports. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment. - Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. - Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or internal staff. - Stay up to date with new appliance technologies and repair methods. - Assist in inventory control of parts and tools.

Requirements

- 2+ years with property maintenance experience, specifically plumbing, electric and general appliance repair skills. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Effective communication and customer service skills. - Valid driver's license, reliable transportation required - Must professionally represent Housing Hub at all times. - Must be proficient and comfortable with computer, tablet, smartphone tech. - Must pass criminal background check.

Schedule

- Monday to Friday - Evenings & weekends as needed

Compensation

$25-$30 per hour
