Maintenance Technician
Full-time, 40 hours per week position at Venue on 78th, a 134-unit property in Chanhassen, MN. Emergency on-call is optional with lucrative opportunities available if desired. On-site living is not required, but employees who choose to live on-site receive a higher rent discount.
Responsibilities
- Ensure resident satisfaction through regular property upkeep, including preventative maintenance, repair, and replacement.
- Complete maintenance requests from residents as received on work orders.
- Check fire extinguishers and smoke detectors monthly and boilers daily.
- Maintain working knowledge of water and gas meter shut-offs, apartment fixture shut-off locations, and sewer clean-outs.
- Assure cleanliness and good repair of vacant units.
- Check pools (if applicable) and complete miscellaneous inspections and reports.
- Report regularly to Property Manager on projected expenses for maintenance and service as authorized.
- Perform other miscellaneous tasks as requested by managers.
Requirements
- Willingness to obtain Boiler/CPO licenses (not required initially; Highland covers all educational costs, training, exam fees, and licensing).
