Maintenance Technician
About the role
The Maintenance Technician at Harvey Performance Company is responsible for diagnosing and repairing production machinery, communicating with management and machinery vendors, maintaining comprehensive machine TPM schedules, and assisting with company projects and engineering efforts.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repairs production machinery.
- Communicate with management and machinery vendors as required.
- Maintain and follow comprehensive machine TPM schedules including oil and fluid level, concentration levels, filter changes, and machine or process calibrations.
- Assist with Company projects and engineering efforts.
- Partner with management, engineering, and equipment vendors to resolve technical issues and drive improvements.
- Contribute to a culture of teamwork by mentoring peers and sharing technical knowledge.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Aid in equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- High School Degree or GED.
- 2+ years in a CNC Manufacturing environment preferred.
- Demonstrated ability and knowledge of trouble shooting and repair of:
- CNC machines and controllers.
- Electrical equipment and processes.
- Mechanical equipment and processes.
- Pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
- HVAC systems.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle numerous tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs regularly, occasionally 50 lbs.
- Regular standing, bending, and walking.
- Occasional climbing stairs, reaching overhead, and crouching.
Skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety and quality.
