About the role
Habitat America, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician in Frederick, Maryland for Cascades of Frederick, a beautiful senior apartment community. This fast-growing property management company is largely based in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Responsibilities
- Handle all technical matters related to general apartment maintenance
- Complete maintenance tickets and assist with unit turnovers
- Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation
- Understand and oversee work performed by contractors
- Work independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- 2+ years of prior apartment maintenance experience
- Experience with appliance troubleshooting, drywall, and painting
- General carpentry, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work skills
- HVAC & CFC certifications are a plus
- Pleasant and professional demeanor at all times
- Reliable transportation
- Extensive mobility and excellent physical condition
- Ability and willingness to work weekends and be part of an on-call rotation
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
