Essential Job Duties
- Repair or replace defective part or equipment using appropriate tools and processes.
- Perform emergency assessments and repairs on facility equipment as needed.
- Follows and complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
- Operate all tools and necessary equipment associated with making repairs or replacing equipment in a safe and appropriate manner, following all related instruction and/or guidelines.
- Attends training programs (classroom and/or virtual) as designated.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Job Specifications
- Education: Possession of a High school diploma or equivalent, GED.
- Licensure: Chauffeur’s Driver’s License required. Must maintain a “cleared” status with the MVR to meet GLBHC’s standards for driving company vehicles.
- Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in building maintenance, facilities, skilled trades and/or equivalent.
- Skills: Detail-oriented. Work independently and cooperatively within a team environment. Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Able to understand and follow oral and written directions. Effectively and safely operate a variety of assigned tools and equipment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Professional behavior, able to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
- Physical Effort: Heavy. Able to lift up to 60 lbs. All types of weather.
- Hours of Work: Full-time. Flexible and varied.
- Travel: Local travel between sites. Company vehicle available. Mileage and travel reimbursement according to GLBHC travel policy.
