Maintenance Technician

About the Role

This is a hands-on, multi-craft maintenance position supporting a highly automated dairy facility. The role focuses on ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operation of production, packaging, and utility systems across a 24/7 operation. The position offers consistent hours, a strong team culture, and the chance to work with advanced automation, robotics, and pasteurization systems. Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operation of production, packaging, and utility systems
• Perform preventive maintenance and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain and troubleshoot pumps, conveyors, separators, and pasteurizers
• Work with instrumentation, calibration, and sanitary process systems
• Read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and electrical drawings
• Support ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and wastewater systems as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (food/beverage preferred)
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and automated packaging equipment
• Experience maintaining pumps, conveyors, separators, and pasteurizers
• Familiarity with instrumentation, calibration, and sanitary process systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, P&IDs, and electrical drawings
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration, boilers, and wastewater systems a plus
• Commitment to food safety, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement
• Safety-conscious mindset with ability to work independently
