Maintenance Technician

About the role

Join a growing production team with a Monday–Friday schedule as an Industrial Maintenance Technician. The ideal candidate will have broad maintenance expertise to ensure a safe working environment, increase productivity, and maintain accuracy.

Freshpack is a custom cheese packaging company that develops and innovates cheese products and packaging, with products available in all 50 states and most major retailers. Over the past 25 years, our team has grown from 15 to 230+ employees, and we are poised for substantial growth over the next 3–5 years.

Responsibilities

• Understand electrical systems, including primary and control circuits
• Work with pneumatics and ladder logic/programming
• Perform electrical installation and repairs
• Apply mechanical skills and read blueprints
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
• Use computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, etc.)
• Perform TIG welding
• Apply knowledge of sanitary design
• Troubleshoot, repair, and address root causes of machine deficiencies
• Handle building maintenance
• Assist in training Machine Operators
• Install and set up new equipment
• Monitor machines during production
• Maintain machinery per specifications
• Suggest and improve equipment operations

Pay

$25–$35 per hour.
