Responsibilities
- Servicing and troubleshooting production and support equipment within the plant.
- Performing project support, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
- Working independently or as part of a team.
- Following and supporting all Company safety procedures.
- Performing light tool work, repairs, and replacing parts on mechanical equipment such as presses, sanders, and conveyors.
- Understanding and applying appropriate and prescribed safety procedures and practices.
- Applying problem-solving techniques to complex situations.
- Reading blueprints, job data sheets, and safety instructions.
- Working efficiently and without direct supervision.
- Possessing basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows software.
- Troubleshooting electrical systems (PLC programming experience is a plus).
- Having working knowledge of 240V, 480V 3-phase, and 110V AC and DC systems.
Requirements
- Dependable and responsible work attitude.
- Effective communication through documentation, emails, and verbal communication.
- Manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- The ability to climb and use ladders, including aerial platforms.
- The ability to carry or maneuver 50+ pounds.
- The ability to twist, bend, stoop, or stand for long periods of time.
Qualifications
- Vocational degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
