About the Role
We are looking for a hardworking, eager Maintenance Technician to join our team in a manufactured home community. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines and take pride in the standards and services they deliver to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup of ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
- Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality
- Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed
- Perform manual repairs (fix locks, replace windows, etc.)
- Undertake pest control activities such as spraying insecticide
- Conduct general upkeep procedures and other assigned tasks
- Keep grounds and landscaping in top condition, including mowing, weed eating, and hedge trimming
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment
- Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to it
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Building maintenance technology or relevant field experience is a plus
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
- Physically capable of manual labor, including lifting, bending, and reaching
- Basic understanding of plumbing and other systems
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Negative drug test
