Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Aid in setting up ventilation, refrigeration, and other systems and carry out necessary repairs.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure their proper functioning.
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs as needed.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary, including fixing locks, replacing windows, etc.
• Carry out pest control activities, such as applying insecticides.
• Undertake general upkeep tasks and other duties as assigned.
• Keep grounds and landscaping in excellent condition.
• Assist in preparing budgets and ensure adherence to them.
• Perform mowing, weeding, and hedge trimming, along with preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment.

Requirements

• Physically capable of manual labor involving lifting, bending, and reaching.

• Basic understanding of plumbing and other systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Building maintenance technology or a relevant field is preferred.
• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification is desirable.
