Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Stafford, TX location. The role involves repairing our world-class Print Production equipment, performing complex maintenance tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of various printing and electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly, repair, or replacement of parts and/or production equipment
• Conduct fitting and alignment of mechanical components for proper functioning
• Utilize troubleshooting techniques to provide temporary and long-term fixes to minimize downtime
• Diagnose and correct maintenance issues on Statement and Invoices Equipment, Mail Inserters, Cut Sheet Printers and Laser Printers
• Analyze and interpret schematic diagrams for electronic troubleshooting

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of progressive maintenance repair and electronic/mechanical troubleshooting
• Willing to go back to school to earn a degree or certification
• Mechanical aptitude
• Experience using a computer for data entry
• Experience with using hand tools like drill, screwdriver, and soldering equipment

What would be great to have

• Associate degree in Electronic Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or Mechatronics or equivalent
• Military training and background
• 5+ years of production maintenance with electronic repair experience
• Experience with IP5000, HP Roll-to-Roll printer, Ricoh Cut Sheet Printers
• Experience with BlueCrest, APS, MPS, and EPIC inserting equipment
• Experience with APEX or Criterion sorters

Important Information About This Role

• You will work the following schedules:
• 1st shift: 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
• 2nd shift: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm or 3rd shift: 10:30 pm to 7:00 am
• Work days: Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday
• Overtime may be required
