Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

The role supports the operation at our properties, focusing on maintaining mechanical systems and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine walking inspections of floors to identify problems and report them to supervisors.
• Maintains work equipment in good working condition.
• Performs maintenance repairs in common areas such as drywall, carpentry, electrical work, HVAC, plumbing, painting, flooring, and other minor building repairs.
• Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work.
• Performs casual labor tasks as directed by supervisors, following safety procedures.
• Performs maintenance replacement and repair in areas of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other minor building repairs.
• Completes daily work orders as scheduled, ensuring timely and efficient maintenance.
• Utilizes new equipment safely and effectively, following all safety procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

• Critical thinking, problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong maintenance and repair skills, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electricity.
• Positive and cooperative working relationships with building staff.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various positions, and perform extended and flexible hours.

Pay

$19.00-$21.00 per hour.
