Responsibilities

• Performs necessary maintenance tasks including repair or replacement of damaged parts, adjustments and calibration procedures, assembly, installation, testing, and execution of preventative maintenance tasks on various forms of manufacturing equipment
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs when needed
• Uses SAP maintenance module in the execution of duties, utilizes computers to acquire information, documentation, account for time, and corrective actions
• Fabricates parts by using machine shop instruments and equipment
• Conserves maintenance resources by efficiently using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
• Exercises judgment to determine appropriate course of action and prepares business recommendations
• Interprets blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Participates in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively upholds the CMC Safety Culture

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role required
• Experience with Allen Bradley, ABB, AC/DC motor, and/or other PLC troubleshooting
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and business leadership
• Able to perform maintenance/repair at heights or adverse conditions safely, including adhering to and following LOTO procedures
• Must be able to stand for significant lengths of time in an industrial environment with exposure to all elements of weather
• Demonstrates dependability in attendance, work completions, and flexibility to meet business needs

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
