Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a hands-on, dependable Maintenance Technician to support facility safety, welcomingness, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Understand assigned properties and review building operations, maintenance schedules, and equipment status.
• Update and manage work orders in the maintenance system; work with Facilities staff to resolve delays.
• Support preventative maintenance programs and maintain logs/inspection reports for life-safety equipment.
• Perform routine, preventative, and predictive maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Troubleshoot heating, cooling, and refrigeration issues; coordinate vendor repairs when needed.
• Inspect buildings to ensure proper heating, lighting, ventilation, cleanliness, and overall condition.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent, with one (1) year of applicable working experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Three (3) years of experience preferred.
• Safe crawling, climbing, and lifting at least 50lbs.
• Knowledge and safe performance practices in the use of relevant equipment and tools.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, organizational, decision-making, and multitasking abilities.
• Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with computers and MS Office software (Outlook, Word) is preferred.
