Maintenance Technician

About the role

Envolve Community Management Company owns and professionally manages apartment communities in select markets throughout the southeastern United States. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to work at Berkshire Apartments in Perry, GA. The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs, apply specialized skills in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical, and assist the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Repair apartment appliances, water heaters, electrical fixtures, bulbs, commodes, sinks, and perform basic carpentry.
• Handle general maintenance repairs as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties.
• Complete work orders and documentation for maintenance equipment operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls 24/7.

Requirements

• Experience in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• HVAC certification preferred with 3+ years of Maintenance Technician experience.
• Ability to safely move heavy equipment using proper tools.
• Availability for emergency maintenance calls at all times.
• Normal work hours are typically 8 AM – 5 PM, Monday–Friday (may vary slightly by season) with occasional overtime required.
• Must pass a background screening and drug test.
