About the Role
Envolve Client Services Group is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Technician for the Freedom Springs property in Colorado Springs, CO. This role is responsible for performing repairs, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of apartment equipment, building systems, and property appearances.
Responsibilities
- Performs repairs, troubleshoots systems, and completes preventative maintenance on apartment equipment, including appliances, electrical systems, and plumbing.
- Performs basic repairs on HVAC systems, water heaters, facility electrical systems, plumbing systems, and other special equipment.
- Available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled.
- Assists in training Groundskeepers and entry-level Maintenance Technicians.
- Troubleshoots all property systems and performs or oversees repairs.
- Conducts maintenance-related inspections, including building and alarm systems.
- Assists in preparing the property for regulatory agency inspections.
- Performs Preventive Maintenance, including winterizing facilities, inspecting HVAC systems, maintaining swimming pools, and ensuring vacant units are properly managed.
- Inspects vacant units and completes turnovers, including painting as needed.
- Inspects subcontracted service providers and documents work quality.
- Walks grounds and common areas daily to remove litter and debris.
- Removes snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, steps, and driveways.
- Attends and completes all required training.
- Completes repairs as directed and performs administrative duties, including recording maintenance requests and maintaining inventory.
- Moves heavy equipment safely using proper equipment.
- Ensures property compliance with Affordable Housing programs (e.g., HUD Subsidy, USDA, RD, LIHTC, HOME).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Two (2) years of maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- College degree preferred.
- HVAC and/or EPA certification preferred.
- Previous multifamily experience preferred.
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.
- Must have own tools and a valid Driver’s License.
- Background screening and drug test required.
Pay
$20.00–$22.00 per hour.
