Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry repairs
• Perform all aspects of painting, drywall patching, texturing, caulking
• Perform unit turnovers (move-ins, move-outs, inspections)
• Perform routine landscaping and janitorial tasks
• Coordinate maintenance by outside contractors (plumbers, electricians, etc.)
• Other duties/tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years related experience in maintenance services
• Demonstrate ability in general construction and power tool knowledge
• Must have and keep a good driving record. Valid Driver’s License and clean DMV report
• Organized and a self-starter with attention to details
• Must demonstrate good record and time keeping skills and be computer literate
• Must demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
• Ability to be a team player, and take direction
• Exhibit an ability to operate effectively in a culturally diverse workplace

Pay

$22–$26/hr (based on experience)

Schedule

• Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:00pm
• Rotating on-call shifts required
