One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep production equipment running safely, reliably, and efficiently at their Grand Rapids, MI facility.

$25/hr - $30/hr

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical equipment
- Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs efficiently to minimize production interruptions
- Maintain and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, compressors, and automated machinery
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical documentation
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
- Perform routine inspections and identify potential equipment problems before failures occur
- Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs accurately using CMMS
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field preferred
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Hands-on experience repairing and maintaining industrial production equipment
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment
- Knowledge of VFDs, motor controls, sensors, and industrial automation
