Essential Job Functions & Expected Outcomes
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair complex production equipment and facility systems across mechanical, electrical (12–480V), hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC platforms.
- Write, modify, and troubleshoot CNC programs to support manufacturing operations and equipment reliability.
- Serve as a technical interface between Engineering and Manufacturing, translating designs and specifications into production-ready machine programs and processes.
- Execute and optimize preventative maintenance strategies to ensure equipment reliability and asset longevity.
- Lead response to critical equipment failures, determining safe, cost-effective corrective actions with minimal supervision.
- Install, relocate, and commission production equipment and support systems.
- Cook up and coordinate maintenance materials, spare parts, vendors, and contractors to support timely and effective repairs.
- Maintain accurate maintenance, safety, and compliance documentation while supporting on-call and emergency response requirements.

- Production equipment and facilities operate safely, reliably, and within required performance standards.
- Unplanned downtime is minimized through effective troubleshooting, CNC program reliability, and preventative maintenance execution.
- Engineering designs are consistently converted into manufacturable, production-ready machine programs and processes.
- Equipment failures are resolved quickly with solutions that balance safety, cost, and long-term reliability.
- Preventative maintenance activities are completed on schedule and adapted based on equipment condition and performance trends.
- CNC-related issues do not impede production quality, throughput, or startup timelines.
- Maintenance costs and spare parts availability are controlled to support continuous production.
- Maintenance activities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements with complete and accurate documentation.
Physical Requirements to Perform Essential Functions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, and climb for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly, with heavier loads using assistance or mechanical aids.
- Ability to work at heights using ladders, lifts, or platforms.
- Ability to work in confined or restricted spaces as required.
- Ability to perform tasks in awkward or non-standard positions, including overhead and below-waist work.
- Ability to use hands and arms for precise manipulation of tools, controls, and components.
- Ability to tolerate exposure to industrial environments (noise, vibration, dust, fumes, grease, oils).
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
