Maintenance Technician

About the role

Cortec Global Services | U.S. is a Global service leader partnering with clients around the world to deliver bespoke, Preservation Management Services and distribution of VPCi Technology. This role may require travel within the U.S. or Internationally.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance of mechanical equipment during storage.
• Maintain equipment as per specifications and standards.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, designs and maintenance manuals.
• Periodical inspections on mechanical equipment in storage.
• Periodical reporting of preventative maintenance activities to supervisor.
• Document and accurately record faults or problems, prepare required information for reporting purposes.
• Support the ordering of any products or equipment components and complete any preservation maintenance activities on associated equipment.
• Use of a wide variety of hand, portable, and stationary power tools.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in safe in-plant maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment.
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in construction and or operational maintenance.
• High school diploma.
• NCCER Millwright preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to successfully complete criminal background check, drug and alcohol screen.
• Pass any client / site specific inductions and training.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
