Maintenance Technician

About the role

Copper Springs East, part of Lifepoint Behavioral Health, is seeking passionate, patient-centric, and goal-oriented team members to join their compassionate behavioral health services team. They specialize in crisis stabilization, inpatient care, and outpatient treatment for acute mental health and substance use treatment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining a safe, functional, clean and attractive physical environment for patients, guests, and employees.
• Performs, with minimal supervision, a variety of plant maintenance tasks under the direction of the Plant Operations Manager.
• Performs plan operations assessments, equipment testing, and documents as required.
• Performs safety and preventative maintenance inspections and documents as required.

Requirements

• A high school degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Combination of education and relevant work experience may be required.
• A valid driver's license and a favorable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), along with proof of insurance when using own auto, are required.
• Previous experience in plant operations in a hospital setting is preferred.
• A strong understanding of regulatory requirements is helpful.

Qualifications
