Job Summary
As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be the frontline technical individual responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of complex industrial machinery and equipment. Your primary goal is to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility by executing both preventative and reactive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency. You will work closely with the production team to identify potential issues before they cause failures and maintain a safe, high-performing workspace.
Essential Job Functions
- Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled inspections, lubrication, and adjustments on production equipment using a CMMSTroubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctionsEquipment Repair: Disassemble machinery to replace defective parts, calibrate components, and restore full functionality
Required Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in Industrial MaintenanceWill train the right candidate with no experience
- Knowledge & Skillset: Troubleshooting skills in pneumatics and hydraulicsGeneral knowledge of fire/security/spark detection systems and AS400 systemAbility to operate a variety of power toolsCritical thinking skills & attention to detailStrong problem-solving abilities, effective communication for shift handovers, and a proactive safety mindsetCapable of working independently with limited supervision
