About the Role
Provide preventative and episodic maintenance, service, and repair in mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and other services across multiple sites. Includes occasional installations or relocation of furniture, equipment, and decorative items. Additionally, perform home repairs for participants as authorized by Community LIFE Interdisciplinary Teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs in mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry, and plumbing
- Conduct preventative and episodic maintenance across multiple sites
- Install or relocate furniture, equipment, and decorative items as needed
- Provide home repairs for participants as authorized
- Follow safety measures and procedures in all maintenance tasks
Requirements
- Trade school or other relevant training in an applicable field
- One year of experience in the maintenance field (healthcare facility maintenance preferred)
- Valid PA Driver’s License
Skills
- Experience in maintenance trades
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
- Ability to operate a wide variety of hand and power tools
- Broad-based knowledge of building codes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and accept supervision
- Strong team-building and conflict resolution skills
- Dependable, resourceful, and flexible
- Basic computer use
Pay
$20–$26 per hour, based on experience. Daily pay available.
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Flexibility to work later and/or on weekends as needed.
