About the Role

This full-time Maintenance Technician position involves troubleshooting, repairing, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical/electronic systems, components, and controls for building and manufacturing equipment in a 230,000 sq. ft. facility.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, test, and maintain new and existing electrical/electronic circuits, systems, components, and controls for building and manufacturing equipment.
• Install, modify, and repair electrical/electronic systems, apparatus, and components of new and existing building and manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain equipment and controls following guidelines of the National Electrical Code, local electrical code, schematic diagrams, manufacturer manuals, and specifications.
• Perform repair and preventative maintenance of printing and bindery equipment, including mechanical and electrical needs.
• Understand and apply knowledge of wire size and types, conduits, couplings, fittings, electrical boxes, circuit breakers, and other electrical control devices to ensure proper and safe operation per National and local electrical codes.
• Use computers and laboratory electrical/electronic test equipment effectively.

Requirements

• PLC knowledge and troubleshooting ability, specifically Allen-Bradley; Siemens and Lenze drives are a plus.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capacity to understand printing jobs and instructions.
• Must be a team player who is detail-oriented and thorough in completing work tasks.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more unassisted.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work weekly overtime and weekends as needed.
