Job Duties
- Follow written preventative maintenance program and document as required.
- Set, calibrate, or adjust equipment, machinery, and instruments so that it complies with production specifications or instructions.
- Maintain production equipment in a manner that meets organization standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime.
- Perform routine operating functions and troubleshooting on all equipment.
- Maintain maintenance records and safety related inspections.
- Performs all job duties in accordance with OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent with technical school diploma or advanced education in electrical, mechanical or electronic engineering.
- Minimum 1-2 years industrial maintenance experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings.
- Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to be certified for forklift operation.
- General mathematic ability required to perform job.
- Willing to enhance skill level through available training.
- Ability to work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
Physical Requirements
- Good hand and eye coordination, with ability to be quick and accurate.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 10 pounds repeatedly, and climb steps.
- Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling).
- Ability to frequently stoop, kneel, crawl, and bend.
- Exposure includes but is not limited to continuous noise, scent of materials, bright work stations, machinery with moving parts.
