Maintenance Technician

About the role

Masters Academy International is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to ensure the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of our campus facilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain critical building systems—including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing—while proactively addressing maintenance needs.
• Support a high-quality learning environment by managing routine inspections and repairs.
• Conduct regular hazard inspections and support emergency preparedness protocols.
• Ensure strict compliance with OSHA standards and uphold the highest standards of safety and security.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
• Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) is preferred.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA standards and school safety policies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or a similar role.
