Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining all assets within the automated warehouse. In this role, the Maintenance Technician must identify, troubleshoot, and repair problems that occur in automation equipment and processes, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs
• Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance
• Perform electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical repairs on automation equipment
• Generate and complete work orders as assigned
• Overhaul and install new equipment
• Rebuild and fabricate parts
• Manage parts inventory to ensure adequate supply
• Perform equipment change-overs and production line set-ups
• Maintain clean and safe work area at all times
• Protect the integrity and quality of product at all times
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering preferred
• 1-3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience required
• Demonstrated experience with mechanical, electrical, and/or pneumatic repairs on automation equipment
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Ability to use a laptop or tablet to fix errors
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, or other irregular hours as required by business needs
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment and lift/carry heavy equipment and machinery parts weighing up to 50 pounds

Pay

$40 per hour

Schedule

Schedule may vary, Monday–Saturday. Afternoon/evening availability required.
