Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment including overhead cranes, conveyors, heaters, pumps, and hydraulics
• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance
• Support rapid breakdown recovery and identify root causes
• Work directly with operations during production
• Maintain work orders, parts tracking, and failure documentation
• Improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime
• Provide fabrication and welding support as needed

Requirements

• 2-4+ years in heavy industrial maintenance
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with motors, drives, PLC basics, and 480V systems
• Hydraulics and mechanical systems knowledge
• Overhead crane experience preferred
• Ability to work in high heat, dusty, zinc-exposure environments
• Self-sufficient and able to prioritize during downtime

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required

Skills

• Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Hydraulics and mechanical systems knowledge
• Overhead crane experience
