About the Role
Clarendale Clayton is recruiting for a hospitality-focused, experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing housekeeping and laundry functions throughout the community, as well as maintaining aspects of the physical plant under supervisor direction.
Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance duties, such as fixing wall covers, floor covers, some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair, and appliance repairs.
- Receive service requests and respond in a timely manner.
- Perform painting and refurbishing projects as directed by supervisor.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance as directed by supervisor.
- Perform minor building and equipment repairs.
- Complete all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
- Assist with snow removal efforts during winter as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness of fountains, pumping, and filtration systems where appropriate.
- Perform maintenance on irrigation systems (valves, timers, and nozzles).
- Perform routine maintenance on all vehicles when assigned.
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition.
- When qualified, assist the Director of Plant Operations and/or perform work on heating and air conditioning systems, domestic water systems, refrigeration systems, pumps, motors, fans, electrical systems, and emergency generators.
- Maintain the exterior and interior of all buildings.
- Support creating a culture where business decisions drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
Physical Requirements
Tools and Equipment Used:
- Personal computer, printer, scanner, fax machine, copier, telephone, calculator, cell phone, assessment tools (e.g., medical equipment).
- Rotohammer, table and band saw, welder (3 kinds), hoist, pullers, assorted hand tools, laminate trimmers/routers, pneumatic tools, drills, saws (chop, table, circular, worm drive, band, and jig), HVAC test equipment, drill press, and grinder.
Physical Activities:
- Lifts and carries up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Pushes and pulls up to 50 lbs. frequently.
- Climbs, reaches, bends, and twists frequently.
- Stands and walks frequently.
Work Requirements:
- Medium work – exerts up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 30 lbs. of force frequently or constantly to move objects.

Pay
Starts at $25.00/hour.
Schedule
Full-time opportunity, Monday - Friday with rotating weekends.
