What You Will Be Doing Here At Team RC
This position may work up to 35 hours per week. These are entry level positions requiring zero to six months work experience related to parks maintenance activities. On the job training is provided!
- Performing repetitive functions including, but not limited to, weeding, landscape maintenance, janitorial duties, graffiti removal, and tree trimming.
- Additional duties may include painting, restoration, and minor plumbing.
Expected to perform all related duties as required.
Are You Qualified?
- Ability to read, write, and apply common sense standards in carrying out oral and written instruction.
- Ability to perform manual labor under extreme weather conditions.
- Some maintenance experience preferred.
This is an entry-level position, training will be provided for necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Knowledge of methods, common tools and equipment used in public works construction and maintenance work;
- Basic safety precautions and procedures;
- Operate and perform routine maintenance and servicing of a variety of power-driven equipment and power tools;
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions;
- Work safely and efficiently with others;
- Deal tactfully with the public.
Special Requirements
- Possession of or ability to obtain an appropriate California driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends.
- Physical demands include frequent lifting of objects over 50 lbs., often combined with bending and/or twisting.
