Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Join our team at Cicor Solon, OH to assist with maintenance projects in the building and perform minor repairs on mechanical and other company-owned equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment issues to determine air, hydraulic, electronic, and mechanical solutions.
• Perform needed repairs or maintenance in accordance with blueprints, manuals, building codes, or other accepted quality work practices.
• Develop and perform preventative maintenance of machines and equipment to prevent future and reoccurring issues.
• Perform minor repair of all buildings and equipment (supervises major repairs by licensed contractors).
• Obtain estimates for supplies and repair parts; order parts as needed.
• Complete projects assigned, such as equipment reworks, fabrication, repair, and design improvements.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures.
• Mentor and train other employees on intermediate preventative maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all departments comply with all written health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Provide maintenance and safety records to supervisor when requested.
• Perform job rotations during scheduled workday depending on production needs.

Requirements

• Ability to climb ladders and work effectively at heights of up to fifteen (15) feet.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Ability to carry out duties with minimum daily supervision.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekend, evening, and holiday work.
• Tow Motor certification.
• Basic computer skills.
