What You’ll Do

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Carry out routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Aid in the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track their completion using available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws.
• Solve straightforward problems using existing procedures.
• Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.

What You’ll Need

• A high school diploma or equivalent experience, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• The ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
