What You’ll Do
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Carry out routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Aid in the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and track their completion using available systems.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws.
- Solve straightforward problems using existing procedures.
- Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
What You’ll Need
- A high school diploma or equivalent experience, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
- In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- The ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
