About the role
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is dedicated to enhancing organizational productivity and performance through effective real estate strategies. Our facility Maintenance Technician role at a large production facility in Aurora, Nebraska, seeks individuals who are passionate about maintaining buildings to optimal condition.
Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and track completion using existing procedures.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
- Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws.
- Solve straightforward problems using existing procedures.
- Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
- Ability to meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Skills
- Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
- Manage work orders through a CMMS.
