Maintenance Technician

Our facility Maintenance Technician role at a large production facility in Aurora, Nebraska, seeks individuals who are passionate about maintaining buildings to optimal condition.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and track completion using existing procedures.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety laws.
• Solve straightforward problems using existing procedures.
• Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Skills

• Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
• Manage work orders through a CMMS.
