Maintenance Technician

About the role

Join us in our mission as a Maintenance Technician at Catholic Charities Disabilities Services. You will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:

Responsibilities

• Performing all plumbing, electrical repairs, basic woodworking, installations and repairs for small appliances
• Performing various remodeling projects, including but not limited to sheet rocking, framing, floor tile installations, painting, etc.
• Performing all landscaping functions including mowing, tree pruning, planting, etc.
• Ensures the timely removal of snow and ice
• Rotates on-call responsibilities as scheduled; On-call is required on a rotating basis for evening and weekend coverage

Qualifications

• Valid NYS Driver’s License
• High School diploma or GED
• Certification in basic areas of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry is preferred
• One to three years of experience as a technician is preferred
• Knowledge of building maintenance or construction, including painting or patching is preferred

Pay

• Minimum Salary: $21.55/hour
• Maximum Salary: $21.55/hour

Schedule

M-F 7:30am-4:00pm *additional hours may be required in cases of emergency such as a snowstorm*
