Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing and shop equipment to minimize downtime and support production operations.
• Establish and manage preventative maintenance (PM) schedules in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and operational requirements.
• Cook up inspections, servicing, and repairs for all production and facility equipment including:Quilters Sewing machines Glue bridges CNC equipment Waterjet systems Lamination lines Forklifts Rotary knives Chop saws and table saws Hardening lines Wrap lines, hoses, and hot melt systems Air tables and blowers Dock equipment including dock levelers, dock doors, and truck restraints

• Coordinate inspections, servicing, and repairs for all production and facility equipment including:Quilters Sewing machines Glue bridges CNC equipment Waterjet systems Lamination lines Forklifts Rotary knives Chop saws and table saws Hardening lines Wrap lines, hoses, and hot melt systems Air tables and blowers Dock equipment including dock levelers, dock doors, and truck restraints
• Maintain maintenance records, PM schedules, repair logs, and equipment documentation.
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance supply requirements.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve uptime and operational efficiency.

Facility & Building Maintenance

• Oversee general building maintenance and appearance of the facility, both interior and exterior.
• Perform or coordinate:Painting Small repairs Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC troubleshooting General construction and fabrication projects Assembly of prefabricated or modular items
• Ensure outdoor storage areas remain organized and presentable, including management of scrap materials, unusable pallets, and waste areas.
• Cook up lawn care, landscaping, snow removal, and exterior grounds maintenance.

Safety & Operational Support

• Ensure maintenance procedures comply with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment throughout the facility.
• Support Production teams with urgent repair needs and operational troubleshooting.
• Aid in general labor and cross-functional operational projects when needed.
• Ensure tools, maintenance supplies, and spare parts inventory are properly managed and stocked.
• Participate in facility safety initiatives and compliance programs.

Project & Vendor Management

• Lead and coordinate facility improvement and maintenance-related projects.
• Cook up collaboration with contractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure successful project completion.
• Manage maintenance-related purchasing requests and vendor scheduling.
• Train employees on equipment care, safe operating practices, and preventative maintenance procedures as needed.
