Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all planned/preventative maintenance (PM), repairs for our production facility, as well as the unexpected.
• Participate in safety initiatives and help develop/maintain a safe working environment.
• Work as a teammate with the production crews to keep machines and systems in proper working order.
• Maintain parts and spares inventories to minimize downtime.
• Develop an extensive knowledge of Case Paper IL equipment and machinery.
• Make proactive recommendations on potential updates and repairs.

Requirements

• Minimum 3yrs Maintenance Experience.
• Experienced in maintenance systems: electrical, automation controls, pneumatic/hydraulic, plumbing, compressed air, mechanics.
• Familiarity with diagnostic troubleshooting of web tension systems in a high speed manufacturing environment.
• Basic PLC’s understanding.
• Able to work on projects that require standing/sitting for extended periods, using hands/fingers to handle/feel, reaching with hands/arms, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and/or lifting 40 pounds.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
• Must be able to visually inspect machines.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
