Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician, II is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of building systems and infrastructure within assigned portfolio. This role ensures that all systems—including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety—are functioning efficiently and in compliance with healthcare regulations. The technician plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, clean, and operational environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This position must understand, appreciate, and respect the differences within our Cascadia community. As such, it is expected that this position promotes integrated care, our vision of trauma-informed and person-first approaches, and helps create a work environment of safety and acceptance.

Responsibilities

• Complete and accurately record all maintenance work orders according to priority and company policies.
• Understand building plans and specifications at each location within portfolio.
• Calculate amounts of required materials, and cost estimates based on work order and other relevant factors.
• Maintain inventory on materials used on projects and repairs.
