Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems per PPI’s preventative maintenance program requirements
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on machinery and all building auxiliary equipment
• Install, maintain, and upgrade production equipment and building infrastructure
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns in a timely manner; these breakdowns may occur during production hours or off-schedule hours
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts inventory (Maintenance Supervisor)
• Assist in developing and improving maintenance procedures and preventative maintenance program
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance
• Operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, hydraulic tools, any production equipment, and diagnostic instruments safely and effectively
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Production/Process manager
• Assist, as needed, in other areas of the manufacturing plant
