Maintenance Technician

Cardinal Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the Sandusky, OH area for a contract-to-perm position.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on production equipment, including mixers, ovens, packaging machines, and other specialized machinery
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, and implement effective repair solutions
• Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and maintain optimal line performance
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment
• Assist with special projects or tasks as needed to support the overall operations of the bakery

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar industrial maintenance role
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Working Conditions

This position is based in our production facility. The work environment can be fast-paced and physically demanding, with exposure to noise, heat, and potential hazards associated with industrial equipment. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a team-oriented environment.

Pay

$30.00 per hour.
