Maintenance Technician at Cardinal FG - Menomonie

Job Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• A post-secondary degree in Industrial Maintenance or a related field is preferred (e.g., Electromechanical, Industrial Maintenance, Machining).
• Two years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred; five years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a post-secondary degree.
• Working knowledge of belt and chain drives, gearboxes, line shafts, pumps, and bearings.
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems and controls.
• Working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
• Familiarity with shop equipment, including drill press, band saw, hydraulic press, and hand tools.
• Knowledge of industrial safety practices, including the ability to properly use required PPE.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive maintenance and daily equipment inspections.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues (up to 480V).
• Complete repairs, facility upkeep, and production support.
• Work with welding, fabrication, machining, and basic electrical.
• Follow safety standards and use required PPE.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams.
