About the role
Maintains facility in a manner that supports continuous operation of warehouse, equipment, tanks, and support systems.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently and effectively maintains all plant equipment as required and/or administered by the Maintenance Manager.
- Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment, tanks, and supporting systems as directed.
- Quickly responds to any and all equipment downtime, troubleshoots the issue, and takes necessary action to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
- Continually monitors plant processes for potential failures and notifies Maintenance Supervisor of any issues.
- Maintains work order process by completing them timely and in a productive manner.
- Assists in maintaining Maintenance inventory.
- Must be able to work overtime, additional shifts, holidays, and/or weekends as needed or determined by the master schedule.
Requirements
- Associate degree from a technical college or 5+ years of experience in a mechanical maintenance position or industrial-related field.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to work any shift.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, including walking and standing for long periods of time and physical lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of RSLogix 500 and RSLogix 5000 Programs.
- Programming BASIC Stamp Modular Controller and various PLCs.
- Experience with soldering, MIG, and ARC welding, as well as wiring various power supplies.
- Advanced understanding of Wonderware, electrical, and mechanical systems, formalization, and transmission know-how.
- Allen-Bradley Micrologix 1000 PLC.
- Allen-Bradley 160 SSC Variable Speed Drive.
- Allen-Bradley SLC 500 Controllers.
