About the role
We are seeking a maintenance professional to maintain our facility in a manner that supports continuous operation of the warehouse, equipment, tanks, and support systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain all plant equipment as required and/or administered by the Maintenance Manager
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment, tanks, and supporting systems as directed
- Quickly respond to any and all equipment downtime, troubleshoot the issue, and take necessary action to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation
- Continually monitor plant processes for potential failures and notify the Maintenance Supervisor of any issues
- Maintain the work order process by completing them in a timely and productive manner
- Assist in maintaining the Maintenance inventory
- Work overtime, additional shifts, holidays, and/or weekends as needed or determined by the master schedule
Requirements
- Associate degree from a technical college or 5+ years' experience in a mechanical maintenance position or industrial related field
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work any shift
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, including walking and standing for long periods of time and physical lifting of up to 50 lbs
Preferred Education/Experiences
- Knowledge of RSlogix 500 and Rslogix 5000 Programs
- Programming BASIC Stamp Modular Controller and various PLC’s
- Experience with Soldering, MIG, and ARC welding, as well as wiring various power supplies
- Advanced understanding of Wonder Ware, electrical, and mechanical systems, Formalization and Transmission know-how
- Allen – Bradley Micrologix 1000 PLC
- Allen – Bradley 160 SSC Variable Speed Drive
- Allen – Bradley SLC 500 Controllers
