Maintenance Technician

Schedule

Full Time, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident and family requests for maintenance assistance.
• Follow direction to make electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural repairs.
• Perform exterior tasks including irrigation, tree and vegetation maintenance, pool maintenance (if applicable), hardscape surfaces, and roofing.
• Maintain proper operations of the community in a safe, clean, and comfortable manner.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent.
• One-year certificate from college or technical school; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with different levels of technical or professional personnel, including outside contractors.
• Ability to communicate with residents and their families.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Use caution in performing duties and maintain safe working practices.
