Maintenance Technician

Bull Moose Tube Company, a progressive organization dedicated to meeting our customers' perception of quality, has a career opportunity for a Maintenance Technician with a strong electrical and general mechanical background at our Masury, Ohio manufacturing site. Prior production experience in an industrial manufacturing environment is desired.

Responsibilities

• Apply electrical theory to test and troubleshoot machinery and heavy equipment (i.e., DC Drives, ladder logic, PLC programming, and SCR Controls).
• Diagnose and correct electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic malfunctions.
• Plan, direct, and record maintenance standards; recommend or initiate modification or replacement of faulty equipment.
• Handle tasks effectively, communicate clearly, make sound fact-based decisions, and work well in a team-based environment.
• Perform additional duties/functions as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be skilled as an industrial mechanic.
• Familiarity with PLCs, motor controls, sensors, limit switches, electro/mechanical systems, and 3-phase 480vt equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities; welding experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Academic credentials or equivalent experience at the Technical degree level (2 years) are preferred.
